Petrified Goat Droppings

So I was questing in Moria recently and got a quest that required for me to pick up piles of goat droppings. As a reward, I received a Petrified Goat Dropping...in other words, I got scared goat poop. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Yeah, thanks man, "for all my hard work".

Durin's Bane

Outside of Moria, in Zirakzigil, lays the remains of the Balrog that fought against Gandalf at the Bridge of Khazad-dûm. If you stand near or on the Balrog's corpse you will receive a +5 Dread. This location is one of the points of interests in the deed for the Cliffs of Zirakzigil.

Court of Anglind

This beautiful performance stage is within the Cape of Belfalas in Dol Amroth. It can be found within the Premium Gondorian Housing. A horse in Dol Amroth can port you to the northern end of the cape and another horse in Minas Tirith can port you to the southern end of the cape. There is no horse from Bree to the Cape of Belfalas, but you can use the housing broker to select a house and click the "Tour House" button at the bottom. The housing broker in Bree stands in front of the Boar Fountain at (30.3 S, 51.1 W)

Chamber of Mazarbul

Lately I've been questing in Moria on my LM (Takakishi) because I'm taking a break from my MIN (Thurineth) and also because if I ever do go AFK unexpectedly I know I have a pet that can protect me from the various enemies in Moria. Thank goodness there are not any roving threats in Moria ( ⁰д⁰).

When the Balrog awoke and the goblins from the Misty Mountains rushed into Moria, much of the knowledge from the lore-masters of Khazad-dûm were lost. The Chamber of Mazarbul is to the north of the Twenty-first Hall where records of dwarf-lore were stored.

Later on when Balin of the Lonely Mountain and his company attempted to retake Moria, their home of old, they took shelter in the Chamber of Mazarbul and was also where they made their final stand. The chamber is also where Balin's tomb lies, it was placed so that the light from the shaft in the wall shone directly on it. The Book of Mazarbul is found within the chamber, depicting the last records of him and his company.

Many years later, the Fellowship of the Ring were attacked by a horde of goblins from Moria. Gandalf attempted to place a spell on the door to keep it shut as the others in the Fellowship fled, but the spell was countered and the door was battered down. In the end, the roof and wall of the chamber collapsed and buried Balin's tomb.

Out-of-Place Strongbox

I was running around the Haunted Burrow today and came across this hilarious thing. A player (whose name I will not disclose for their privacy) was sitting inside a loot box making it seem as if he was a part of it. Every time someone used the loot box he would say "Thank you, please come again". But as his title suggests though, it is not a wise thing to do in real life, so kids, please don't try this at home! (∩╹□╹∩)

My Long Absence

My sincerest apologies everyone! I've been gone so long from LOTRO due to school and other events. Hah, and they said that senior year would be easier than junior year...they lie! Anyways, I've also been busy with another game, Naruto Online, but now that I'm at a decent level there I plan on wholeheartedly returning back to LOTRO. （‐＾▽＾‐）I will also work harder at posting more stuff on here. Including interesting locations throughout Middle Earth or just some random tidbit I found. So, I hope to see you all on there!

Starry Starry Night ☆.。.:*・°

Hello everyone! (^_<)〜☆
I'm back from vacation and have finally gotten rid of my terrible jet lag. I have had to unpack my luggages and also clean the whole house, but eventually I freed up some time to finally be able to play LOTRO again. I've been gone so long that on the day I wanted to play the game they had a huge update waiting. At the time, I thought, how bad could it really be? Oh~ how I was mistaken, it took me hours to update the game and by the time it was finished it was already time for dinner. (ノ_<) The next day I woke up bright and early (I say I had gotten rid of my jet lag, but in truth it's more like I can wake up during AM hours and sleep during PM hours) and right after eating my breakfast I got onto LOTRO. While I was still getting used to all the new changes a kinsman logged in and we started chatting. We hanged out at the kin house, sat around the fire, and just talked. We eventually moved outside and he built a little campfire. I had laid down on the ground and was looking up at the sky when I noticed it was quite beautiful (not as pretty as Forochel, but still).

After taking this screenshot we headed out to Rushock Bog in the Shire because he had apparently heard that the troll there only turned to stone when the sun came up. So naturally, we went to check if there was a troll roaming around. Sadly, we had gotten there too late and the sun was already up when we arrived leaving us unable to either prove nor disprove his theory.

Nanduhirion

I've been questing in Moria with my MIN lately and visited the place where the Fellowship of the Ring rested after their escape from Moria and having lost Gandalf. It's a unique camp filled with both dwarves and elves. The valley around here is filled with level 60 orcs (3726 morale, 665 power) and it'd take me a minute or more to defeat one, so I did not want to wander too far out of the camp. It was a good break from staying underground in Moria for so long though. The camp is located right outside the Eastern Gate of Moria at the foot of Redhorn, Silvertine, and Cloudyhead on the eastern side of the Misty Mountains. The valley around here is also where the orc leader, Azog, was killed.

The name of the camp in Sindarin is Nanduhirion. The valley around it is known as the Dimrill Dale in the speech of Men while the dwarves call it Azanulbizar.

The Bridge of Khazad-dûm

I've went and visited the place where Gandalf faced the Balrog. The bridge is broken in half, with one side longer than the other. In this photo I'm standing on the longer side. You can also go down below to the very bottom of Moria and see where the pieces of bridge fell to. Personally, I think Moria is always so dark, but definitely not as gloomy as Angmar. Especially since Moria doesn't have towers that'll kill you if you stand too close to them! Come at me Towers of Despair! (๑و•̀ω•́)و ...jk, I think I'll run away...run far, far away |д꒪ͧ)… but overall, Moria is still a pretty awesome place. I especially love the Moria crystals, really beautiful (I love the colors purple and blue), so I made sure to get one for my personal house ceiling during the 9th Anniversary event. Speaking of the 9th Anniversary event, they also had Moria Mirrors which can be rotated and adjusted to relect light. I was only able to get one so for the time being it's at my kinship house (which I may as well keep there because it's so darn huge).

(Hope some of you caught my very lame attempt at trying to reference Star Wars "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away", or if you want, a reference to the kingdom Far Far Away from Shrek.)
